“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7)
Did you know that the elements that make up Earth’s soil are the same elements that can be found in the human body? Surprising? It shouldn’t be! The bible tells us that “The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground.” Although God blessed us with the breath of life, we are all derived from the ground, the dust, and the Earth.
From soil comes life. A small seed becomes a thriving plant with it’s own intricacies, uniqueness, and nutrients. Even the animals we eat are sustained by the plant life that is grown in the soil. Life’s beautiful cycle does not neglect soil as “dirty.” Instead, it celebrates it as an ever-important provider of nutrition and sustainer of life.
As Dr. Fred Bell always said and taught, Trace Minerals (link to Pyralyte page) complete the body. We came from the ground and we NEED the soil minerals to sustain us. If you are low in Trace Minerals, your body lets you know! Minerals from the Earth keep us feeling energetic, alert, and alive.
Next time you walk across a thriving field or run your hands through rich soil, take a moment to think about what you walked across and what you have your hands on. Think about how amazing it is that so many of God’s creations begin in something as dirty as soil.
