Who Created God?

Who created God? It’s a question that has long been asked, pondered upon, and debated by mankind.

This question was recently brought up by former heavyweight boxing champion and podcast host, Mike Tyson. So… Who Created God?

This answer may be more simple than we think. If we look at the world around us, it is all made of materials. Your clothes, food, house, car, jewelry, electronics, books and everything else around you is ALL made of material! Everything in our world is material, and therefore needs a creator.

We see this idea written in scripture:

“Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.”

- John 1:3

When we think of God, we keep in mind that (in contrast to the world around us) God is immaterial. He is spirit. He has no beginning and no end. God has simply ALWAYS existed.

As we turn back to the conversation with Mike Tyson, he brings up another interesting point: He explains how he will often awaken in the middle of the night and think:

“I can’t imagine this energy I have just blacking out and not existing anymore… So where does it go?”

Well… The answer is that no one knows for sure. But, one day we will find out. The nature of life is that no one knows when your last day will be. Do not fear, but there is a sense of urgency to accept Jesus Christ as your savior.

After life on Earth, the soul will return to its Creator. The energy that God created will return to Him. All those who have put their trust in God and Jesus Christ will be resurrected to eternal life in Heaven.

We encourage those who feel called to come to the Son of God. Follow the glorious creator, the one who suffered for you and for the sins of the world.
