In ancient times Lapis Lazuli was very highly regarded because of its beautiful color. The name comes from the Latin lapis, "stone," and the Persian lazhuward, which means "blue." Lapis is formed by multiple minerals, mainly consisting of Lazurite, Sodalite, Calcite, and Pyrite.

Lapis lazuli is a powerful mineral, useful for thinking and focus, having a very high vibration. It’s believed to increase self-knowledge and awareness of one’s own inner wisdom.
